Spring Arts Festival

The Spring Arts Festival at Canyon Oaks Elementary was a really fun experience where we helped set up and ran Carnival games throughout the event. It was a very nice way to interact with the community as a whole. We got to watch our High School Jazz band perform and many of our own parents were there. In addition, many of the parents of the children in the boy and girls club which partake in our reading buddies program recognized us. We also met a parent who was actually a past Key Club President of a different school and it was very cool to meet someone who was part of Key Club history. Despite the heat, I would say it was a good experience nonetheless.
