Home Run Hoedown

Unfortunately since prom was as the same time as the Homerun Hoedown and since the majority of our officer and participating members are currently Juniors, me and our Secretary Lydia Zhou were the only officers and members that attended this event. As a result I had to prepare 17 salads, 16 potato salads, and cut all the meats by myself. Fortunately, there were other volunteers from the softball team that helped me when packing all the meat into containers and I found myself running the Kitchen in the end. Afterward, Lydia and I went around socializing and we met with some of our own Kiwanians and I got to ride a mechanical bull. It was a lot of work but it was well worth it since I got to take home a whole tri-tip chunk of meat and a huge apple pie.
